Tin Tipi Village @ Fort Bridger, Wyoming
This property is known as "Tin Tipi Village" for just one week out of the year, which happens to be the week of the
Fort Bridger Rendezvous. For the rest of the 51 weeks of the year, the property is known as the Hopkinson Ranch.
We enjoy seeing all of you every year as you come to enjoy all of the activities provided for you by the
Mountain Man Rendezvous, located at the Fort Bridger Museum. We are not a camp ground, but we certainly try
to make your week with us as comfortable as possible.
Check out what we provide under services... When we see that you are happy, that makes us happy.
UPDATE FOR 2024...
Please note that we will NOT open our gate until Tuesday at 12:00 NOON this year.
GENERATORS! Please read our Parking Rules, as the generator section has been updated.
LOUD Generators and constant use of such generators are becoming a big issue. Generators which run at 70 dB or lower are allowed in all areas, accept Primitive or bordering Primitive, but because of the close proximity of campsites in areas A – E, it is “COMMON COURTESY” to only use when absolutely necessary. Using a generator all day long in order to have air conditioning is not an absolute necessity. PLEASE be courteous! If your generator is over 70 dB... you need to park in the outer fields by the front office.
THE NATURE OF THIS EVENT IS TO ESCAPE FROM THE MODERN WORLD, GO BACK IN TIME, AND ENJOY SOME PEACE AND QUIET. AGAIN, PLEASE BE COURTEOUS WITH RUNNING YOUR GENERATORS AND ONLY WHEN ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.
“All” generators must be turned off by 9:00 pm. If you need a generator for health reasons, please let us know and we can park you in the outer fields where your generator will not bother others. With the increase of Pap Machines, may we suggest bringing a battery to use during the night and recharge it with your generator during the day.
STAFF: Remember this is PRIVATE PROPERTY! If any of our staff ask any guest to adhere to our camping and parking rules and you do not cooperate, we “could” ask you to leave our property. Drunk and disorderly is absolutely NOT allowed at any time.
CURFEW:
***10:00 p.m. is quiet time. Sitting around a campfire and quietly talking is what it’s all about.
***12:00 midnight is absolute quiet time. Noise carries for miles and screaming, hooting and hollering is not appreciated by neighbors who might have small children and are trying to keep them asleep. AGAIN, “COMMON SENSE” and decency to respect others right to have quiet time is important. This is a family event! You will be asked to leave the property if you do not adhere to absolute quiet time at 12:00 midnight.
If you are experiencing excessive rowdy, drunk and/or disorderly neighbors, please do not try to handle the situation on your own. Please come to our office and report the problem or call us at any hour.
