The Ice TruckThe Ice Truck will drive through the property beginning on Thursday night, and again each morning and night between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. and again in the evening between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Fire BarrelsFire Barrels for Rent: Fires are "ONLY" allowed in fire barrels, which sit 12 in. above ground. We appreciate those of you who bring in your own fire barrels, but if you don't have a fire barrel and need to rent one from us, you can do that at the registration tent. Fire Barrels can be rented from us for $20.00 per week/weekend; however there will be a $10.00 deposit, which will be returned to you when you return your fire barrel and unused wood to us. The fire barrels will include a small amount of wood to get you started.
Firewood: Additional firewood can be purchased from us if needed. You should bring your own wood, if you plan on having a fire every night, as we don't have enough to supply everyone. If you bring FIREWOOD onto the property, please take it home with you, as we do not want it left behind for our staff to pick up . Please remove all ashes and remains of fire into ash barrels, which are located next to large Garbage containers at the North end of fields G and B. Please do not throw your ashes into Garbage containers, fields, trees, or ditches, as we have had fires started by people throwing their ashes where they are not supposed to. ***Please take anything else you bring onto the property home with you. |
Garbage
Two Large Commercial size garbage containers are located at the north-end of fields G and B, for your garbage. We "try" to make one or two runs through the fields each day beginning on Thursday afternoon to pick up your garbage, because we know it is hard for you to maneuver through the fields to get your garbage up to those containers with so many camp sites. Please remove your own garbage from your camping area when you leave and place it in either of those two large Commercial Containers provided for you. You'll drive right past one of them on your way out.
We have 24 Porta Johns spread throughout the property. We clean them every morning and night. If you find that one of them is being neglected or mistreated, please let one of us know. We will be happy to take care of it. You can set an appointment to have the pumper come to your trailer and pump out your black tank during the Rendezvous, once he is done taking care of the Porta Johns.
WATER: We supply 7 "Water Buffalo's" throughout the property for your use. These 275 gallon water tanks are filled from the Mt. View City water source. Please bring water with you, as we cannot possibly supply everyone with all of their water needs, but we certainly will do all we can to keep you supplied with what we can. Those of you who bring trailers should always bring them full of water. We cannot fill your trailers, as the ranch has a well and we are not hooked up to City water. The local Sheriffs Department will ride through our property several times a day. For any emergency, please call 911 or talk with one of these men on horses. If your emergency can be addressed by one of our staff, please don't hesitate to contact one of us and we will do all we can to help you.
